5 Days/4nights in Pantanal with Chapada dos Guimarães

(With one-night Chapada dos Guimarães)



1. Day: Cuiabá/Pantanal



Reception and assistance upon your arrival at Cuiabá Airport. Transfer to the Pousada Baguari passing through the small village Mimoso, where Cândido Rondon was born. Arrival at the lodge at dinner time. After dinner, presentation of the Pousada Baguari as well as the program for the next days.



Obs.: At the first day, depending the arriving time at lodge, activities free (fishing at deck, swimming pool, snooker, etc).



2. Day –Horseback, Boat and sunset in the bay, piranha fishing



Breakfast. In the surroundings of the Pousada Baguari, horseback riding between the flooded fields and capons of the Pantanal. After the lunch, departure for the Rio Mutum and bay Siá Mariana, stop for appreciation of the sunset in the gorgeous bay of Siá Mariana, including the piranhas fishing and the observation of crocodiles and others night-active animals by means of searchlight, return to lodge. Dinner and overnight.



3. Day: Mutum River – boat, trekking- safari by car (nightly)



After the breakfast, photo-safari by boat until Mutum River (Trion Morrinho). This River has a singular beauty, forming beautiful "mirrors of water" and where is also possible to see capybaras and others species of the Pantanal., return to lodge. The end of the afternoon, e go out by car through the Capoeirinha/Joselândia Road. In the way we will make stops to appreciate the fauna and flora .Dinner and overnight.



4. Day: Pantanal/Chapada dos Guimarães



Wake up before the sunrise for a riding by horse at the surroundings of the Pousada Baguari, between the fields and capons of the Pantanal (optional). After breakfast excursion to the Chapada dos Guimarães (ca 200 km). Accommodation at a comfortable hotel there. Lunch is served in a typical restaurant of the region with a splendid panoramic view of the whole area. Afterwards visit of waterfalls and natural caverns. City tour. Dinner and overnight.



5. Day - Chapada dos Guimarães – Tours



After breakfast we will go to the Chapada National Park, visiting the highest place in Chapada dos Guimarães, which included the Bride Veil Waterfall (86m). Close to the one of the most beautiful rock formation in the entire region. We are going to make a trekking by the water's way that forms the Pantanal basin. Lunch will be in a restaurant inside National Park, typical meals we be served. After lunch we continue our trip around the park in the end of the day we return to the hotel.

* Transfer: Regular Transfers to/from Cuiaba and Pousada (or Chapada) with air conditioned cars at any time of the day.

Approximately 2 h from Cuiabá.
