Porto de Galinhas beach is located only 60 km far from Recife.
It has 12 km of beaches full of palm trees and natural swimming pools of warm blue water with thousands of small colored fishes. This is the most visited beach in Pernambuco.
Sophisticated hotels contrast with humble fishermen’s homes, shops, small huts and restaurants. At your choice, you can hire a buggy and visit the various nearby beaches, like Cupe (beautiful green waters beach of open sea and big waves), Muro Alto (has this name - High Wall - because of a high barrier of sandy reefs), Gamboa (very quiet, natural swimming pools), Maracaípe (good beach for surfing, in this beach we have the Brazilian Circuit of Surfing ) and Pontal de Maracípe (the reefs make a crown of stones when the tide is down).

REMARKS
This is a full day tour. We leave the hotel at 08.30. Arrival in Porto de Galinhas at 09.30. Our support point is Restaurante Miramar that offers excellent food, fresh water shower, handicraft shop, and umbrellas over small tables in the beach and during lunch “forró” singers and “repentistas” are presented. At 4 PM we leave Porto de Galinhas arriving about 5 o’clock in your hotel.
