Full Day Tour Santos & Guarujá
Departure from the hotel with the first stop for pictures at the independence monument, then thru the Mobil industry, passing by bigs dams which supply hydraulic energy at the sea level.
There’s a 15 km of winding road thru the jumgles which is a beautiful mountainous area.
The port of Santos was one of the first Brazilian towns, founded approx. in 1535 by a Portuguese nobleman called “bras cubas”, the church of Santa Catarina was built in the same year exactly on the place on which the conquerors founded Santos. In January 26, 1839, the settlement was established, this date is today the date of birth of the town.
Our ride takes us to the biggest port of Brazil (with more than 20 km of pier facilities) through the most important residential areas and along the beaches of Gonzaga and São Vicente.
Leave the pier in Santos towards Guarujá, Via Anchieta, and Piassaguera Roads, passing by Cubatão district (biggest industrial petroleum centre in the Latin America). At Guarujá, we will visit the main and famous beaches on the coast of the state of São Paulo with stop at Dolphin hotel (30 minutes walking by the ocean side).
Guarujá is all well known because of its summer residents, villas and apartments of the rich inhabitants of São Paulo who spend their weekends and holidays over there.
The return trip will be start by the ocean side, 7 km from Guarujá passing by São Vicente and arriving in Santos, we will visit the Orchidarium for 30 minutes. Last stop will be at the historical church with its 200 years.
Note: Please note that the Orchidarium is closed on Mondays.
