Day 1: Departure from Manaus at 7am. The trip takes three hours by speed boat, van and speed boat again. During the trip you may encounter some pink dolphins on the way. Enjoy your first contact with the jungle and observe the giant water Lilly, the majestic trees, the birds and the local communities. At Juma lodge a welcome drink prepared with exotic fruits awaits for you. Lunch, a creative fusion between Amazon and International cuisine is the served. The afternoon activity is a reconnaissance tour through the igarapés (Amazonian creeks) and the igarapós (flooded forest) in motorized canoes. Return to the Juma lodge. At night, go out in a canoe ride to observe the night fauna and meet alligators, frogs and birds. Stay alert to the mysterious sounds of the forest and the starry sky.



Day 2: Breakfast with typical fruits and regional food. Leave for a jungle hike. Once inside the Amazon forest, feel its charm and greatness. All tours are led by a lodge guide with great knowledge of the area. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we will go out fishing and learn more about the indigenous species of the Amazon (piranha,peacock bass). While enjoying the sunset, return to Juma, observing the capped Herons and the Cormorant transform the landscape into an amazing show. Dinner will be complimented by the fish you caught earlier, cooked the Amazon way.



Day 3: Early morning we will leave for a sunrise excursion, witnessing the transformation of the dark water of the Juma river into a mirror of the sights and sounds of the waking birds leaving their nests for another day. Breakfast. Return to Manaus. On the way back see a Sumauma, the largest tree of the Amazon. Another important stop to see the meeting of the waters, the spot where the muddy waters of the Solimões River and the black waters of Negro River run side by side, without mixing, to form the great Amazonas River. By request, the guide will take you to a dive spot, where you can feel for yourself the 8° C difference in temperature between the two rivers. A truly unique experience. Arrive at 11:30 am at the airport or at your hotel in Manaus.

* Transfer: 3 hours - by boat in flood season and combined speedboat, van and speed boat again.



Regular Daily Transfer:

- Manaus to Lodge at 7:00 am

- Lodge to Manaus at 8:30 am



The transportation to Juma Hotel will be passing in the hotels in Manaus between 7 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. to take you up to the Ceasa Port in the Industrial District. In the Port, we will take a boat to cross the meeting of waters arriving in Careiro ville 20 minutes later. Possibility of observe some Botos (river dolphins) - Boto Tucuxi (Sotalia Fluviatalis) and Boto Cor de Rosa(Inia Geoffrensis).

From Careiro to Araçá River, it is 1 hour more by car in highway BR 319. 1 hour by boat from Araçá river navigating by rivers and igarapés (small creeks), close the first time with the pristine forest.

During the flood season, it is possible to go with speed boats from Ceasa Port until Juma hotel.



* Children Policy: 0-5 years old: free / 6-10 years old accompanied of 2 adults in same room: 50% off in double rate base.



* Package includes: full board meal plan without beverages, accommodation in lodge or in jungle (as described in the package), guided excursions (English-Spanish-Portuguese guide) and transfer Manaus-Lodge-Manaus.



* The excursions described are weather permit.



* The lodge doesn’t offer hot shower regarding electricity issues.
