Accommodations: The 189 Intercontinental rooms are divided into standard, 35 suites and executive club level.
Standard rooms and suites services: turndown, valet, cable TV, in room movies (pay per view), coffee maker, mini bar, tea maker, work desk with lamp, two-line phone, voice mail, bathrobe, bathtub, hairdryer, private bathroom, scale, whirlpool, safe, iron/ironing board, crib, separate hanging closet.
Executive club level services: same as standard rooms (or suites) plus cocktail hour (complimentary), drinks (complimentary), free morning newspaper delivered to room.
Restaurants and Bars: Brazilian executive chef Marcelo Pinheiro lends contemporary flair to the menu in Tarsila Restaurant & Bar. Natural light floods the dining area at breakfast, and the popular gourmet express lunch creates a midday buzz. Filet Carpaccio is a favourite from the show kitchen, and the bartender gets lots of requests for the Caipirinha. Live Latin and jazz music energizes the bar.
