Half Day Tour to Fazenda de Cacau
We get to “Primavera Farm”. We visit the plantation where we hear technical explanations about it. We visit the places where the cocoa beans are fermented and where they are dried. We hear about the whole process until the cocoa becomes chocolate. We visit the farm’s museum with old furniture and documents, from the Empire’s époque. We see the tools used in the plantation and we can buy surveniers from the farm and taste the cocoa juice. There is an option of having a typical lunch at the farm and going horse riding.
