The village of Morro de Sao Paulo, on Tinhare island, has no road and no cars but only sandy street. The tractors are the only transportation helping guest carring the luggages.
There are four main beaches where the water is crystal-clear, and has regularly made them on the best-beache lists of several Brazilian magazines. The clear water around the island are ideal for scuba diving and for lobster, squid and fish. You can access this village by 50 minutes by plane from Salvador or about 1/2 hours by boat from Valenca or four hours from Salvador.
There are numbers of pousadas ( inns) and restaurants to taste the delicious of real Baiana Food. At night, all actions take place at the village , the meeting point for music and dance.
